Wow – it’s nearly here!!! Less than 2 weeks to Christmas, we can’t believe it…. It’s been a funny year in a lot of ways, and we’re pretty sure there aren’t many people who haven’t been affected in some way by the unique happenings around the World!!
One of the biggest surprises this year for us in the shop has been the massive affect of Cardfight Vanguard, we put off stocking it for so long, then tried it, and never looked back!!! With the UK high street looking pretty green around the gills, and no sign of immediate remedy, we’ve concentrated on trying to source and supply something a bit different than other local shops, and go that extra mile with service…. We’ve won a few, and i guess lost a few battles!!! That’s life :)….
On the run up to Christmas, we hope some the magic rubs off onto you, it’s still there, but with the constant bad news, and uncertainty, it has seemed somewhat elusive…. Sometimes you can look at life as half empty and despair, or it can be half full and you can make your own luck, and choose your own path :)….. Watch your Vanguard, Santa’s on his way….

Ahhhh, you can tell when Summer really starts – it’s when Scotland breaks up for their holidays, and as we’ve been spying the amount of children in the shop this week thinking ‘why aren’t you in school?’, it’s because our friends North of the Border have broken up!!! 🙂 …. Have a great Summer Scotland – Keeping fingers, arms, legs crossed for Mr Murray this weekend!! :)…

It’s Mario…..’Mario Kart Wii K’nex Kits’ – Seems like fun 🙂 ….. We’ll hopefully have our hands on a few soon!! Pokemon Black & White Boosters, Tins, and Mini Album Sets hit today – Selling well in shop 🙂 …… The weather is just amazing – If you’re on holiday, we’re very jealous!!! Have a great time, and a great Easter Weekend 🙂 …. Now where was that monkey wrench?….

Girls will be Grrrlzz…..
We’re constantly reminded it’s a ‘boys’ shop, yeah we’ve got the token Sylvanian Families and Hello Kitty, and other bits and pieces, but mainly it’s a boys shop!! What a load of tosh, the cool Grrrlzz in ToyToyjac like Sk8 Boards, and Pokemon, and Carcassonne, and Uglydolls, and Anime!! You want dolls and Barbie, well yeah, feel free to go to the shop around the corner!! Anyway, in with the new bits this week were a few Zoobles single figure packs, they’re like Bakugan for girls…. (but girls like Bakugan too!!!), ooh we’re on a hiding to nothing with this – We’ve got more Iwako coming soon, and if you need an idea for Girly Stuff have a look HERE , but remember we also have Aqua Beads, and Crazy Bones, and Club Penguin, and Zombies!!!! (hehehe)…..

Shadows of Omega
New month (well, yes it’s well into March now!) – As well as the usual suspects (Pokemon Sneak Peeks are in), we’ve had some really good additions inwards, more Carcassonne expansions, Chaos Marauders (Warhammer Card game from Fantasy Flight Games), Ticket to Ride Dice, and Anima – Shadow of Omega (we love this card game!!)…. There’s more too (not all available online), and we’ve got some great Models and Kits for Anime fans incoming soon…. Wow, a while in posting (Happy 2011!!!) – Loads in and arriving, we’re also mid-moving online shop to pastures new, so it’s all a bit chaotic, but it’s organised chaos (well that’s what i tell myself 🙂 ).. New arrivals in this week includes the board game from Playroom ‘Killer Bunnies & The Journey to Jupiter’ – it looks cool, got good reviews, we haven’t had time to have a go ourselves yet – but we will!!
