Street Fighter? It’s hitting the Clix

Finally….. The Street Fighter Heroclix are launching (UK wise, they were originally down for August)  next week , with Starter Sets, and Single Figure Boosters (yes, like the Gears of War ones, we’ll be checking the figures to avoid duplicates)…. Time to get up to speed with the Heroclix 2011 rules…. Loads of stuff happening, and coming and going, September is usually the quietest month of the year for us….. October, bring it on!!! Loads of Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokemon goodies coming up, and plenty of surprises too…. Life’s too short, play it with passion, choose your game, and just go for it….. RIP REM btw

 

Keep it secret, but we check the figures…..

Back to school and all is well :0 !!

The new Gears of War Heroclix arrived, we’ve got Marvel Mega Bloks foil packs (to go with the Hello Kitty, and Halo figure packs (when available!)), and Gachas of all flavours….. A little secret is we always check against duplication – the Gacha and Heroclix single figure boxes we carefully open and check, the Mega Bloks figure packs are easier (they have a code along the edge of the packets!)…. Where possible we always send different characters, we realise these things can get expensive when collecting, but then you’ve got to realise some figures are a lot more common than others, so full sets are virtually impossible most of the time when, for example, there is 1 ultra rare Halo Mega Bloks Series 3 figure per box!! But we do try, honest

We’ve had loads of new arrivals recently, including some of the new Uglydolls for 2011 (hurrah) – We think they’re the best bunch of Uglies for a couple of years, meet Groody (above)….. new Pokemon Boosters, Yu-Gi-Oh! 2011 Wave 1 Collectors Tins (these are going to be like rocking horse doo-dah – we got 3 cases (36 tins) and we’re down to a few – sold out at most distributors, and no re-print till 2012!!)….

Gacha prices seem to be following Gold prices!!!

We’re certainly living in pretty uncertain times at the moment, and the safest bet for your money seems to be in Gold….. We’ve had a restock on a few bits, and we’ve got some more Gacha in (the Mario ones have always been popular in shop) – but the prices have risen to around £3 per Gacha retail!! from £2 just a while back…… How they justify these prices is beyond us, someone down the line is ‘taking the mickey’ we think, but we’ve had to increase the prices on some lines otherwise we’d be losing money on them at the old price….

Gacha? Ask your Bank Manager before purchasing!!!

Loads of goodies incoming over the next few weeks, with Heroclix, and Heroes – Legend of the Battle Disks, and new Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Pokemon releases, and also new Anime goodies arriving soon, and the new Uglydolls!! It’s going to be a great August, be good, and stay coooool ….

Master Chief turning Hero….Now that he’s 10!!!

COMING THIS SEPTEMBER…..

The story of the legendary Halo universe is finally making its way to HeroClix with this 45 figure Halo HeroClix release. Each 5-figure booster is locked and loaded with the games greatest heroes and villains. Grab Master Chief and a few UNSC Spartans and face off against the invasive flood and the Covenant.

Halo HeroClix features the exciting new grenade mechanic, giving ‘clix’ players a brand new tactic for taking down their opponents. Each sculpt depicts a classic Halo character holding one of the games many iconic weapons.

Moving on from ActionClix, this new Halo HeroClix set is compatible with Marvel,DC sets, and all other HeroClix Figures.

Heroes – Legend of the Battle Disks…

This Summer is gonna be HotClix…..

OK, so the Star Trek Expeditions HeroClix game is slightly delayed (now due out 1st week in July), but today we’ve put a pre-order in for some other great new HeroClix goodies which are due out this August, the new Street Fighter HeroClix come in Starter Sets and Single ‘Gravity Feed’ Booster Packs -

Apparently, the Street Fighter Starter Sets will be the only ‘new’ HeroClix Starters released this year, with a rrp of £14.99 for the Starter, and £2.49 for the Single Figure Boosters, we think these will be a hit with customers who are new to the HeroClix games but remember the video games.

As well as this release, they’re also releasing ‘Gears Of  War’ Single Figure Boosters! With the 3rd installment of the Xbox game eagerly awaited by millions of gamers, this 10 figure set is also gonna be a huge hit with fans of the video games, at £2.49 a booster, they’re a great ‘pocket money’ price, and they’re compatible with the other HeroClix games / figures.

 

Finally, they’re releasing an add-on set for the Star Trek Expeditions game – ‘Fleet Captains’…. WizKids have a busy Summer line up for sure!!! And with some great names, we’re pretty sure they’re gonna be snowed under till Christmas keeping up with demand
