Keep it secret, but we check the figures…..

Back to school and all is well :0 !!

The new Gears of War Heroclix arrived, we’ve got Marvel Mega Bloks foil packs (to go with the Hello Kitty, and Halo figure packs (when available!)), and Gachas of all flavours….. A little secret is we always check against duplication – the Gacha and Heroclix single figure boxes we carefully open and check, the Mega Bloks figure packs are easier (they have a code along the edge of the packets!)…. Where possible we always send different characters, we realise these things can get expensive when collecting, but then you’ve got to realise some figures are a lot more common than others, so full sets are virtually impossible most of the time when, for example, there is 1 ultra rare Halo Mega Bloks Series 3 figure per box!! But we do try, honest

We’ve had loads of new arrivals recently, including some of the new Uglydolls for 2011 (hurrah) – We think they’re the best bunch of Uglies for a couple of years, meet Groody (above)….. new Pokemon Boosters, Yu-Gi-Oh! 2011 Wave 1 Collectors Tins (these are going to be like rocking horse doo-dah – we got 3 cases (36 tins) and we’re down to a few – sold out at most distributors, and no re-print till 2012!!)….

Hello Kitty, Halo….It’s a Mega FIGHT!!

Several deliveries recently, one contained some more Halo Mega Bloks stuff, including the new Weapons packs, and also some Mega Bloks Hello Kitty Character Packs! – We’ll be getting the Kitty single foil packs in too soon!! And the Series 3 Halo Foil packs are down for around September. We must admit Mega Bloks have really come along recently with their new ranges, the quality seems to have improved too!!

So Halo, Kitty? Kitty, or Halo? There’s only one way to find the winner – FIGHT!!!!

Nearly There!!!

We’re nearly ready with the new website, should be all live over weekend . Our old database has been hording so much rubbish I’m amazed!!! Though now I’m not surprised we’ve been getting constant emails about the Revoltech DanBoard figures (we had a case about 3 years ago) – although we deleted it after we sold out and couldn’t get any more, it was always there lurking!!!!

Anyway – new goodies arrived today at shop – Pokemon ‘Call of Legends’ (this is the last part of the HS set, before the new Black & White launches in the Spring), Bandy Watches, Hello Kitty Lip Gloss Rings, Crazy Bones, Top Loaders, and some items restocked. New YuGiOh! in on Friday with a few other bits…..

If we see another database to sort out we’re going to do something very stupid, like dance as if our left legs are broken and we are lobotomized……!!!

Goodbye… Hello :)

The time is nearly upon us when our online home for the past 3 years becomes history….. …… But we’re moving to a great new system and host yay!! It will look pretty similar, but under the bonnet it’s a beast – We’ll be in ‘Maintanence Mode’ for a few days maybe a week – while we update and test etc when we do move…. Loads of cool goodies in and coming in (check out the ‘bricks’ shop for full ranges!!) - including;  Hello Kitty lip gloss rings, new Pokemon TCG Call of Legends, Yugioh! With Halloween fast approaching we’ve got some ‘special’ spooky TY Hello Kitty Beanies coming in (we’ve already had a few of the Witch ones, which sold out in two days!) – We’re not putting them for sale online (don’t ask us why, we’re not sure!! lol, it’s just nice to have certain things just for the shop)…. So, ‘Witch’ and ‘Bat’ Kitty will be hitting shelves this week!

New arrivals also include Mario Mini Figures, Uglydolls, and Party Animals (these look very cool, custom animal danglers - think Mini Winnies with extra style thrown in!)….

Hello Kitty, she’s everywhere, she’s everything! Due in next week restocks of the Hello Kitty Ty beanies, as well as a couple of new ones, one of which is ‘Hello Kitty Punk’! (Sid will be turning in his grave!)…

More Spongebob Beanies too, including ‘Spongebob Quarterback’. Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokemon TCG’s will also have some restocks, as well as the introduction of the ‘Phase 10′ Top Card Game (these ‘travel’ type pocket games are going really well at the moment).

Happy Holidays….

As the UK breaks up for Easter, we wish you all very happy break , and good luck if you’re studying hard this holiday for exams coming up (we’re sure you’ll all be ok!! – just do your best, and don’t get too stressed!).

The new website should be live anytime, we’ll be doing the member draw this weekend – Winners will receive YoYoFactory and Hello Kitty goodies. Loads of stuff restocked for Easter, not many new items – but as always the Gacha’s have been flying out …. And we’ve plenty of orders lined up.

What does Easter mean too you? We’ll leave it to a quote from Jim Morrison – “I will not go, prefer a feast of friends to the giant family…”

PS, Don’t believe the weather forecasts, the East Coast here hasn’t been too bad (and it probably won’t be as bad as they’re predicting!! It never is what they say) – so come and say ‘Hi!’, we’ll be open every day apart from Sunday

Easter Eggs…No Chocolate!!!

Easter is fast approaching…..New look website should be ‘live’ sometime next week (although the designer finished the design last week, apparantly he then has to convert it, and then the e-commerce guys have to take this and apply it which takes a while – don’t ask us, we don’t understand it, we just pay the bills!! But it’s looking good, and we’re very pleased – So thanks to John and David )…

Next week we’ll be stocking up on Gacha (yes those none chocolate eggs), and one or two other fun items, when the website goes ‘live’ we’ll be sending out a newsletter to all customers (as well as 10% discount, we’ll be having some special prize draws - YoYoFactory YoYo, Full set of of Hello Kitty Animal Costume Gacha, and 1 customer will receive their order for free!! )….

But then don’t forget, apparently Chocolate is good for you (the ‘white coat’ guys say so) – So if you treat someone this Easter, maybe you should get them chocolate as well!!!
