Street Fighter? It’s hitting the Clix

Finally….. The Street Fighter Heroclix are launching (UK wise, they were originally down for August)  next week , with Starter Sets, and Single Figure Boosters (yes, like the Gears of War ones, we’ll be checking the figures to avoid duplicates)…. Time to get up to speed with the Heroclix 2011 rules…. Loads of stuff happening, and coming and going, September is usually the quietest month of the year for us….. October, bring it on!!! Loads of Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokemon goodies coming up, and plenty of surprises too…. Life’s too short, play it with passion, choose your game, and just go for it….. RIP REM btw

 

Heroes – Legend of the Battle Disks…

As well as the new ‘Gears of War’ and ‘Street Fighter’ HeroClix, coming this August, courtesy of MagicBox (those guys from Barcelona who did the GoGo’s Crazy Bones) is ‘Heroes, Legend of the Battle Disks’….

They look pretty cool (Starter Packs contain - 2 Figures, 2 Disks, 1 Advanced Shooter, 1 Mini Shooter, 3 Stickers, 1 Battle Map &  1 Total Guide for only £4.99 / Booster Packs contain - 1 Figure, 1 Battle Disk, 1 Mini Shooter & 3 Stickers for just £1.99) , and you can check out the Official website HERE, we’ll be getting our hands on some around the end of August…. This Summer is gonna be HotClix…..

OK, so the Star Trek Expeditions HeroClix game is slightly delayed (now due out 1st week in July), but today we’ve put a pre-order in for some other great new HeroClix goodies which are due out this August, the new Street Fighter HeroClix come in Starter Sets and Single ‘Gravity Feed’ Booster Packs -

Apparently, the Street Fighter Starter Sets will be the only ‘new’ HeroClix Starters released this year, with a rrp of £14.99 for the Starter, and £2.49 for the Single Figure Boosters, we think these will be a hit with customers who are new to the HeroClix games but remember the video games.

As well as this release, they’re also releasing ‘Gears Of  War’ Single Figure Boosters! With the 3rd installment of the Xbox game eagerly awaited by millions of gamers, this 10 figure set is also gonna be a huge hit with fans of the video games, at £2.49 a booster, they’re a great ‘pocket money’ price, and they’re compatible with the other HeroClix games / figures.

 

Finally, they’re releasing an add-on set for the Star Trek Expeditions game – ‘Fleet Captains’…. WizKids have a busy Summer line up for sure!!! And with some great names, we’re pretty sure they’re gonna be snowed under till Christmas keeping up with demand
