Playing Your Cards Right…..

Nice Game, Nice Game….. It’s that time of year when the major trading card games release their next installments within a couple of weeks of each other! This week saw the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! Order of Chaos Boosters arrive (4 boxes down since Friday), the Dragons Collide Deck, and the boosters based on the Legendary Collection 2 set will be arriving over the next couple of weeks….. Magic the Gathering will be launching Dark Ascension (the 2nd set from the Innistrad line) around 3rd February…… And Pokemon fans will be catered for around the 8th, with the next installment, which re introduces EX monsters!!!

It’s A Kind Of Magic…

Well, Happy New Year!!! 2012, and with the last of the UK schools due back on the 9th, that’s it for another year. We love Christmas, don’t get us wrong, but sometimes it feels like such a fuss, and stress, and race, and then when it arrives, you can blink and miss it

Already have a couple of boxes of Magic the Gathering Core set boosters, liked them, and so some Innistrad boosters, and Event decks are due in next week, then we’ll start in earnest with the Magic when the new set launches in February (Dark Ascension)….

Other new arrivals include; Original Slinkys, Jumbo Soldier packs, and Moshi Monsters Figure Collectors Bags. We’re going to be a bit more selective on the ‘Playground Craze’ things this year, it seems to be that they’re launching ‘The Next Big Thing’ on a weekly basis, and these things usually have such a short shelf life even if they take off, it’s not really worth it for us, unless we really like the product…. So we’ll be mainly concentrating on the TCG’s, and Board Games, with a selection of Pocket Money goodies, and Anime items from our friends due East, and of course hopefully a few nice surprises too! :)

That’s it for UK Christmas online orders – so if you order now you probably won’t get it in time!!! Thanks again to everyone this year Big Hugs to all of you!!

And especially for our friends in the shop – from January 2012 we’ll be stocking Magic the Gathering (we’re tired of being asked for it LOL!!!), not such a big deal to online friends we know….. And speaking of the shop – We’re closing Christmas Eve (last day Friday 23rd) – For Four Days!!! (We have Lifes too!!! )…..

Ahhh, the final countdown, we’re getting all excited, and tingley…. The last date for UK Christmas orders is Monday the 19th, after that we’ll still be shipping, but you probably won’t receive your orders in time for the BIG day…

We thank you all for making 2011 so special, we wish you a Magical Christmas, and hope your 2012 and beyond is filled with Health, Happiness, Hope, and Fun…

Christmas, it’s turning Ugly…!!

Yes, Christmas is in full swing, according to the media it’s murder on the high street! All we can say is, although overall it’s about the same as last year so far, this is our fourth Christmas selling Uglydolls, and we’ve been selling more in the last couple of weeks than any other November / December….

So, it looks like this Christmas Day is gonna be ‘Pretty Ugly’!! Just remember kiddies – Uglydolls are for life, not just for…..

As November comes to an end, it’s been a strange year (and really fast too! it should only be about June, right? – ‘We must be getting old’!!!) – December – Our favourite month (full of joy, hope, and nice things (we’re actually going off snow – defo getting too old!)). Incoming for our special people, loads of goodies, including restocks of Uglydolls – and some of the new Mugs, and ‘Piggy Banks’….. Have an Ugly Christmas!! You know you want one

Yes, we know Christmas is close when the Pokemon TCG Holiday Collectors Tins are due in, and they’re in tomorrow!! With the new Yu-Gi-Oh! Photon Shockwave Boosters, and other goodies restocked…. Next week we’ve got the new Pokemon TCG Boosters in, with some more of the Pokemon Plushies (proving very popular in shop). Go on, have a Pikachu this Christmas, you know you want one!! lol….

I guess it beats Football / Soccer (but then, most things do these days !!) – In next week comes the ‘Blood Bowl Team Manager’ Card Game from Fantasy Flight - ‘Blood Bowl: Team Manager – The Card Game is a bone-breaking, breathtaking standalone card game of violence and outright cheating for two to four players. In one of the deliveries this week we tried out a case of some Pokemon Plushies, and were pleasantly surprised by their quality (sometimes these kind of things can be a bit flaky!!), based on characters from the new Black and White series, Tomy introduces – Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott. Other items in this week included more Yu-Gi-Oh! , although we’ve only got a limited amount of the Wave 2 Collectors Tins, so at the moment they’re only available in the shop, and the Legendary Collection 2′s have all sold out…!!

Kids go back next week, so we hope you’ve had a great Half Term, and go easy on the candy this spooky weekend!!

It’s been a busy few weeks, loads of new goodies in and ordered…. This last week has seen new arrivals for Yu-Gi-Oh! (Gates of the Underworld Decks), Pokemon (Zoroark Illusions Collections), Marvel Mega Bloks (Series 2 figure packs), Moshi Monsters (Clay Buddies, and Series 2 figure packs), and other bits and bobs…

This coming week finally sees the arrival of the Halo Heroclix boosters, these were originally due in September, but it’s better late than never!! Check out the Heroclix at ToyToyjac HERE . Yu-Gi-Oh! Legendary 2 Collections are also due in – though out of our 12 preordered, around 9 are spoken for, so they won’t be reaching online unless we can get our hands on some more stock!!

With nights starting to draw in, the temperatures on the wane, and half term around the corner, take it easy Ooohhh, we nearly forgot, have you had a look at the Pocket Money lines recently?
